Dicehammer SoCal Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament: Tournament Prep

Next weekend, July 8 & 9, 2017, I will be attending the Dicehammer SoCal Age of Sigmar GT in sunny San Diego, California. This will be my first Age of Sigmar tournament since the game dropped! Can you believe it? My first Age of Sigmar event!
This event is going to be a small(ish) GT with probably around 30 or so players once all the sign-ups are accounted for. The tournament will be held at At Ease Games. The tournament rules are up and posted and now is the time to decide on an army (as I don't have a full AoS army painted yet I will be borrowing one for the tournament). The rules are as follows:
  • Armies are 2000 points, using the standard rules and restrictions from the Pitched Battle section of the original General's Handbook (as GH 2 won't drop until after the tournament).
  • There will be five (5) games (three on Saturday and two on Sunday) based on either the Pitched Battle scenarios or the ITC scenarios with additional bonus scenario objectives and missions. With each game will be a bonus Agenda Card which you will try an achieve during the game. Each player will have 12 different agendas and choose one for each game.
  • All measurements are taken from a model's base (thankfully) to eliminate model shenanigans.
  • Dice for turn initiative may not be re-rolled or modified in any way (also good).
  • And a few more general clarity rules that don't need mentioning.
I am looking at taking a Grand Allegiance: Death Nighthaunt army comprised of the following:

  • Cairn Wraith (with Cursed Book)
  • Cairn Wraith
  • Banshee
  • Banshee
  • Spirit Host (6 stands)
  • Spirit Host (6 stands)
  • Spirit Host (3 stands)
  • Hex Wraith (5 models)
  • Hex Wraith (5 models)
  • Morngul (General, Rule of the Night)
  • Morngul
We will see if that's what I finally decide on, but it is a nice, neat 2000 points and is something that I will be able to figure out how to play without too many practice games (if I get any).
